I hope y'all are having a great week so far!  It's about to get better.  Today you get to meet Caitlin, Class of 2015 graduate from Enka High School in Candler, NC.  Caitlin found me through my Instagram feed.  Instagram is easliy my favorite social media platform these days.  I have so much fun sharing lots of different types of things over there.  Everything from behind the scenes shots from my sessions, session availability, reposting fun things from others that I follow, back of the camera shots, inspirational things, personal pictures, and of course final retouched images from all my clients.  If you aren't following along yet, you really should go do that right now.

Another reason, probably the #1 reason, I love IG so much is because I get to meet and work with amazing people like Caitlin because of it.

When Caitlin and I talked during her pre-session consult, she told me that she wanted part of her session to be in a nature setting.  So we choose to start at Fletcher Community Park where there are some beautiful trails and a great creek to play in.  On a sidenote, the creek is also a great way to cool off during those hot summer sessions.  :)

She also mentioned that you would like part of her session to me in more of an urban and colorful location.  So what better place for that than the River Arts District in Asheville.  So after we finished at the park, we headed to Asheville just in time to enjoy this beautiful dreamy light of sunset.

I think it was at about this point in her session that I realized that she was completely natural and make up free.  Caitlin has the most flawless skin.  Combine the flawless skin, with her gorgeous baby blues, and you get simply beautiful.

I truly loved working with Caitlin and her entire family.  She is so family oriented.  When we had her ordering appointment, the entire family gathered together to view all of her final images.  It was such a fun and rewarding experience seeing all of the love and support Caitlin receives from her family.

Here is what Caitlin had to say about her session:

"Thank you so much for my wonderful senior pictures! I'm so pleased with all of the products. Normally I hate my picture being taken, but you made it so fun and unique. It was like a instant friendship the first time we met. It was more than just taking a photo for you, it was also gaining a friendship! You're such a amazing woman, and I'm so lucky to have worked with you for my portraits!"

The feeling is completely mutual Caitlin.  That is one of the many reasons I love my job so much.  All of the new friends that I get to make every year.  Best of luck in your next life venture Caitlin.  Stay true to your authentic self, and you are going to go far.
